Cruz Coaching Scholarship
Creating opportunity through dedication. This scholarship supports players who show commitment, discipline, and love for the game — but face financial barriers to consistent training.
Why This Exists
When I was young, I didn’t have the financial means to work with a trainer or play at a top club consistently. I know what it feels like to want to push forward but not have access. This program is designed to change that for a dedicated player or two each season athletes ready to show up, work, and grow.

What the Scholarship Includes
- Access to Cruz Coaching group training (12-player cap, two coaches)
- Free entry to seasonal camps (Spring, Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
- Official Cruz Coaching training shirt and essentials
- Mentorship and development tracking throughout the season
- Spond access for attendance and communication
Eligibility & Expectations
- Ages 10–17 with demonstrated financial need
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Strong character and sportsmanship on and off the field
- Short statement or 1–2 minute video: “Why I want to be part of Cruz Coaching”
- Optional recommendation from a coach or teacher
Application Process
Step 1 — Apply
Complete the online application with player details and your statement or video.
Step 2 — Review
We evaluate dedication, character, and potential alongside financial need.
Step 3 — Decision
Finalists may be invited to a brief call or on-field evaluation. Selected athletes are onboarded in Spond.
