Travel Logistics + FAQ

  • Fly into: Porto, Portugal (OPO)

  • Hotel area: Central Porto (details provided privately after registration)

  • Transport: Families responsible for daily transport; Uber or rental cars available

  • Camp: Closed-door; no spectators

  • Yes, We heavily advice for parents to attend on the trip.

  • Full Refund

    • If cancellation is requested within 7 days of registration and at least 60 days before camp start date (before May 8, 2025) — you’ll receive a 100% refund (minus any processing fees).

    🔄 Partial Refund (50%)

    • If cancellation is requested before June 1, 2025, we’ll refund 50% of the camp fee.

    No Refund

    • Cancellations made after June 1, 2025, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund, due to pre-paid costs and limited camp slots.

    Refund Conditions

    • Refunds do not include transaction/processing fees.

    • Refunds will be issued within 14 business days of cancellation request.

    • All cancellations must be submitted in writing to your IPA representative.

  • The camp takes place at an official FC Porto training site in Porto, Portugal. Due to privacy and club protocols, we’re not allowed to share the exact address publicly. However, once your player is registered, we’ll provide all necessary travel and location info privately.

  • We recommend families book accommodations near central Porto. It’s a safe, convenient area with access to transportation, restaurants, and sightseeing. Hotel prices range from $300–$600 for the week, depending on location and availability. Major chains like Hilton or local boutique hotels are available — and if you have points, that’s a bonus!

  • You’ll want to fly into Porto Airport (OPO) — it’s the closest and most convenient option. From there, you can Uber, rent a car, or arrange ground transportation to your hotel.

  • Families are responsible for getting their player to and from the training facility each day. Uber is widely available in Porto, and renting a car is also easy — they drive on the same side of the road as the U.S.

    If you're attending with a group (like 8–10 families), we can assist in arranging a group mini-bus for daily drop-offs and pick-ups. This is a great option and can be coordinated directly with us after registration.

  • This is a closed-door event. Parents are only allowed on site for 10 minutes at the start and end of each day for drop-off and pickup. No spectators will be allowed inside the training sessions.

    • 30 hours of international training with FC Porto coaches
